Dawn, Account Executive/Specialist/Office Manager and Co-Founder of DesignPro, stumbled into the insurance world in 1987 by way of an “insurance headhunter”. Having no knowledge of insurance, she was brought on to help and assist the owner, agents and account executives of the agency. During that time, and with a huge desire to learn, she dove into the vast industry head on with a desire to absorb all that it had to offer. In late 1988, her eyes were opened to Professional Liability insurance and she has spent almost 40 years handling the insurance needs of the design professional community. In 1990, she became a licensed Property and Casualty agent and has devoted herself to providing every client with the best service possible.
With her strong knowledge of the industry, she provides assistance to all clientele, negotiates premiums/coverages and oversees operation of the agency. She has developed great relationships with many of our clients, underwriters, underwriting technicians and does whatever she can to make someone smile while discussing the complex understanding of insurance coverages. She is Jeff’s “right-hand” and will always follow through with any complex project thrown her way.
Dawn has many interests outside the office ~ bowling, camping, gardening, cornhole, exercise, as well as an extreme love for dogs. She has been married for over 25 years, residing locally in Canton for over 20 years with her husband Patrick and 3 rescue dogs, Dakota – an all-white Siberian Husky, Samson – a black and white Border Collie Mix and Willow – a Bernese Mountain Dog. She would love to save all the rescue dogs, but with those 3 weighing in at 230 lbs combined keeps her hands full! She loves spending time with her son Ryan, daughter Heather, son-in-law Gage and their most recent addition, her first grandchild – Sebastian.
